The product, in the report: 6 quart air fryer
The Joy air fryer made by Galanz has a problem with the time and temp setting changing by itself while using it has happened all the time. I called on 9-27-23 to report my warranty information to them which is 1 year and read all operating instructions began to use it with one problem. When I set menu item Chicken- Steak ect. them time and temp push Start and the time temp, and menu would change by itself to 20 minutes @ 360 degrees and go to Steak canceling out my settings and having to change again. When I called Galanz customer service @ 800-562-0738 and talked to a person I was informed that a software problem is common with this unit and they were aware of it and that they would contact me. Then 2 months later I set air fryer to my time and temp and menu item and pushed Start. A few minutes later my smoke alarm went off and kitchen had a haze of smoke in it. I pulled out the fryer basket and the time and temp was 20 minutes @ 360 degrees. I e-mailed : CustomerService@Galanz.com and asked if the unit was safe to use, all I got was e-mail saying they would respond in 24 hours which never happened. I then requested a refund or replacement which their warranty states, got 24 hours response again. I have found that this Joy air fryer not available so I have requested a full refund since I sent all pictures with items they requested. Now when I e-mail asking when my refund will be sent I get no response from them at all. It appears their unsafe product and warranty are not honored by Galanz and to ignore the consumer complaints regarding refunds, replacement or settlement regardless of the safety to the buyers of their products.
