While heating food in a GoWISE USA Electric Programmable Air Fryer (Model HF-186TS, item no. GW22731), the air fryer stopped working before the cooking time was complete. The front information panel did not display any information. I verified that the issue was not with the electrical outlet. Upon turning the unit over to view the bottom I discovered that wires at the base of the unit had melted through the plastic base.

Cooked chicken breast with my Go Wise air fryer, and when my husband took a bite of his food, he bit into a tiny screw. Upon inspection there were small parts including a second screw at the bottom of the pan, between the pan and the basket, just laying in there. He will definitely require dental work!

The product, in the report: 12.7 quart, counter top, electric air fryer
The product was in the on position and it stopped working, after approximately 20 minutes of use. The consumer heard about a recent recall ([REDACTED]) on air fryers and checked his product. However, it was not included in the recall. When he flipped it over, he found a burn wire. There is a panel in the lower right hand, bottom part of the air fryer. That wire is exposed and has melted through that right hand section.
There is small burn spot to his counter-top, where the wire melted through. The fryer was sitting on a grill mat and actually burned through the grill mat and onto the counter.
There were no injuries.

The safety latch to prevent the handle from becoming unattached when removing the basket from the oven broke resulting in the basket and its hot contents splashed out. Though purchased a year ago the air fryer was only used less than six months.

The product, in the report: Gowise USA airwise air fryer. Model RAF-070
Used air fryer as directed to cook chicken wings. Upon removing the basket assembly, the pan unexpectedly detached. As the pan detached, and fell, tumbling, and splashed extremely hot grease onto my leg. I suffered several burns on my left leg. While these burns are painful, the are not an emergency. However, I can easily imagine a situation where the same might happen while a small child is nearby, causing serious injury.

Product is being used to cook food. The product has a basket that attaches to the pan. The basket and pan are inserted in the machine and the food is cooked. When complete the user removes the basket and pan via the handle connected to the basket. The basket is suppose to release when you press the release button.
The product I bought the basket releases without pushing the button.

The air frier latch does not lock. The basket will release unexpectly letting the hot pan to drop. Has happened to me seviaral times and I have read were others have put this issue on their product reviews on line. I have tried to find were I can contact the manufacture on line and haven’t yet found a link to coustomer service.
