No one hurt Made Dec 29, 2025, sent to the company Jan 2, 2026, published by CPSC Jan 30, 2026
The product, in the report: Emeril Lagasse Everyday 360 Stainless Steel Air Fryer, 360 Quick Cook Technology, XL capacity, 9-in-1, 12 Pre-Set Cooking Functions including Bake, Rotisserie, Broil, Pizza, Slow Cook, Toaster
Sirs, I purchased a “Emeril Lagasse Everyday 360 Stainless Steel Air Fryer, 360 Quick Cook Technology, XL capacity, 9-in-1, 12 Pre-Set Cooking Functions including Bake, Rotisserie, Broil, Pizza, Slow Cook, Toaster” from Amazon.com on October 30th 2025. It arrived November 4th, it was removed from the box, plugged in, and when my friend went to preheat it he received a mild shock. I then duplicated his actions and also received a shock by finger touching the metal case while turning knob. I had a VOM and was able to measure the voltage as relatively mild 9 volts DC. I contacted the manufacturer (not an easy task) to get the oven exchanged and warn them of the danger (primarily litigious jerks who would make a big deal out of it). I got a run around with demands for pictures of the outlets it was plugged into, the cord, the oven in place, all easy enough except the oven was delivered to my vacation home and I was driving back1300+ miles the next day and had to take it with me, and could not contact the comapny until after I returned. the company refused to do anything with out the requested pictures despite my explanation of the timing and that it may be 6 months before I returned. I explained that the countertop was butcher block (wood), that the cord had no damage and as the shock was DC and no AC the problem could not be cord related. A week after my return home (where, incidentally, was the Emeril Lagasse airfryer that My wife and I have used for years and caused us to want one at the vacation home) I had triple hernia surgery. Thank god for Amazons customer service who allowed the return after the return window closed (after I gave up on Emeril Lagasse customer service, whom I tried to deal with first to so they would know about the issue and have an opportunity to correct it before suffering damages from less understanding and/or less pro business members of the public.) Had Emeril Lagasse customer service exchanged the oven I would have assumed they would verify the issue and take corrective action, but as they did not, I feel obligated to make this report. Thank You.

The product, in the report: 9-in-1 air fryer. Toaster & Convection Oven, Slow Cooker, Roaster, Dehydrator, Pizza Oven. 12 Smart One-touch Programmed Presets: Airfry, rehat, Toast, Bake, Rotisserie, Dehydrate, roast, Broil, Bagel, Pizza, Slow Cook, Warm. Max Temperature Setting, 450 Degrees Fahrenheit.
While using the Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360, it caught on fire. We were air-frying chicken legs and the juice from the legs dripped down onto the tray at the bottom, but the bottom heating element was smoking. Before we could open the door, the whole inside of the fryer caught on fire. We unplugged it but couldn’t open the door to try to put out the fire so it just burned and burned until we had to finally use pot holders and throw it outside. We’ve noticed that almost any food that had liquid in it that can drip can land on those two heating poles (elements) that are at the bottom of the fryer. They’re above the catch tray where the juices land so its the first to be hit with any juice.

The product, in the report: Emeril Lagassee French Door Air Fryer
We had some electrical glitches during a windstorm. At about 12:30PM March 11, 2024, our Emeril Lagassee French Door Air Fryer turned on by itself. Thank goodness we were home. We travel a lot and that would not have been good if that occurred when we were away. This is a technical or design issue. The unit should never turn on without human interaction.

The product, in the report: Emeril Lagasse 360 air fryer stainless 19” x 11.5 x 10.5
I purchased a emeril lagasse air fryer several months ago. I pulled it away from the wall a few days ago to find that the fryer had been against the plug that goes into the wall socket. The plug has been partially melted buy touching the back of the air fryer while it was on. This could cause an electrical short and possible fire.

RE: Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 S-AFO-002 E207393
Purchased a Emeril Air Fryer August 12, 2020 on Ebay (Open Box)from “vipoutlet” order # [REDACTED] The oven was used once prior to attempting to bake a chicken last week. The chicken had been baking approximately 30 minutes at 350 degrees when there was a loud “boom” as the glass oven door ‘shattered’ thrusting glass over “10 ft.” in all directions over the kitchen floor.
After investigating the oven on [REDACTED] I noted that other consumers had experienced the same explosion.
The seller was contacted and expressed no interest in investigating this very dangerous, seemingly not uncommon flaw and refused to refund/credit purchase price.
This oven requires some modifications and needs to be recalled before someone is severely injured. Please investigate and advise.
Please investigate and advise
Thanks you, Sincerely,
[REDACTED]
