The product, in the report: Cuisinart Digital AirFryer Toaster Oven

I just purchased a Cuisinart TOA-65 toaster/oven/airfryer. I noticed really hot air coming out the vent on the back so got out a thermocouple thermometer. When on the 450 degree airfry setting, after a few minutes the air coming out the vent on the back was 220 degrees F. This seems to be a fan forced airflow. I looked up the UL safety spec (UL 1026) and it said a maximum of 110 degree temperature rise was allowed. I also looked up the operating temperate specs of a [REDACTED] electrical outlet (the appliance may be placed in front of a kitchen counter outlet), and it was a lot less than 220 degrees. Common [REDACTED] wire used in homes is only rated up to 60 degrees C (140 F). People reported both on Amazon reviews and the Cuisinart [REDACTED]support group of melted outlets behind this appliance. I am returning the appliance to Amazon, as I don’t want to risk damage to my home or my personal safety. I don’t know if this is just something about the specific unit I have is defective or if this is a design defect of all TOA-65’s. No injuries occurred and no damage occurred to my home, but potentially melting an outlet is not something an appliance should do.

The product, in the report: Cuisinart digital air fryer toaster oven https://www.cuisinart.com/shopping/appliances/toaster_ovens/toa-65/

We have a Cuisinart TOA-65 digital air fryer toaster oven and when we unplug it after use the cord and plug are alarmingly hot. I am worried that it will start a fire. We have only had it for a couple of months and typically use it for less than 20 minutes, and always unplug when it is not being used.

The product, in the report: Cuisinart Air Fryer Model TOA-60 air fryer

Product: Cuisinart TOA-60 air fryer User: myself Use: cooking food Problem: Air fryer was correctly installed per the manufactures instructions and melted through an electrical cord that was behind it. The electrical cord shorted out on the metal body electrically charging it until it made contact with another metal surface and completed its path to ground. Had a person touched the air fryer they would have been electrocuted. The unit needs to have a grounded cord or create less heat on the exterior surfaces.

The product, in the report: CPC-600 Pressure Cooker

I was using my pressure cooker, which I have used for three years. It is an electric model, which was set to cook for 21 minutes.

After 15 minutes, I noticed it was not counting down and the red seal valve was not engaged. I tapped the gasket to see if there were any steam present, nothing came out. I thought for whatever reason the unit was not under pressure. I turned the lid, there was no resistance, the contents exploded onto my face, chest and side resulting in second and third degree burns of 80% of my chest.

The company tested the unit and found no fault with the seal or operation.

I suggest that the safety features on the pressure cookers was inadequate.
