The product, in the report: Air Fryer XL by Cozyna (5.8QT), black.
The Cozyna Air Fryer XL (5.8QT) has a plastic safety cover over the basket release button. This prevents the button from being accidentally pushed, which releases the basket from the bottom of the fryer. This cover breaks off (see attached photo) and the button can easily be accidentally pushed when the basket is removed from the fryer. This can lead to the basket spilling its hot contents all over the user, causing burns,.
I contacted Cozyna abut this 3 times - twice by e-mail and once by their customer service phone line. There has been no response to any inquiry.
