The product, in the report: The product is an Aria digital air fryer oven. I purchased it from Amazon in December. It is a combination air fryer and toaster oven, sort of. It is Chrome and opens in the front it has a basket for frying and some trays for toasting and other types of cooking.
An air fryer I purchased about 7 months ago started coming on suddenly and heating up when plugged into an outlet that did not have any issues when other appliances were plugged into it. Nothing I could do except for unplugging it would turn it off.

The product, in the report: Aria 10-QT air fryer oven, black Model AAO-890
Aria 10 qt air fryer was being used for the first time to rotisserie chicken. The instruction booklet warned of a little smell on first use, but it actually smelled so badly like burning plastic that I feel ill and my nose is burning inside, I had to open all the windows, and even after it was done cooking the smell persisted. It was the entire housing of the appliance that heated up and off-gassed and I was not sure it was even safe to eat the food. This is not the healthy product it was advertised to be. I have contacted the seller and requested a refund on return of the appliance.
