The product, in the report: Old Timer Bruin 50 TG pocket knife. Manufacturer’s product page is here https://www.theoldtimer.com/new/bruin---5otg/1137133.html
Spring bar on Old Timer Bruin 50TG pocket knife came loose and fell out. I was using the product at the time. The important thing on a back lock knife is that when there is no tension from this spring bar, there is nothing to keep the blade in the closed position so it can easily open unexpectedly in your pocket or bag. I was fortunately not injured. I reported immediately to Old Timer and received confirmation of my case (Old Timer Case [REDACTED]), but they have not responded in more than two weeks. I have left a warning on Amazon where I purchased the product (shipped and sold by Amazon, not a third party, this is not a counterfeit). When I looked at the 1 star reviews for this product, there were numerous other complaints of the spring bar breaking or coming loose. Direct link to these reviews is here: [REDACTED]
