The product, in the report: Serrated blade, black plastic handle, about 8” long overall. Steak knife.
Master Cut 2 knife by Jesco. When cutting a piece of cheese, the blade separated from the handle. My wife nicked her finger when this happened, but the failure of the product was so quick & sudden that much more serious damage was possible. These knives have a lifetime warranty, supposedly. I have contacted customer support of the manufacturer, but they just advise returning the product where bought with the original receipt. Unfortunately, this is not possible at this time.
