I purchased four sets of the Emeril 3pc German Steel Forged Knife Set & Bamboo Board Black for Christmas gifts and one of those sets I kept for myself. This is what comes in the set: Emeril 3-piece German Steel Forged Knife Set with Bamboo Cutting Board Three versatile knife styles handle numerous kitchen cutting, dicing and chopping duties. German steel, full-tang blades deliver sharp results with a balanced, comfortable feel. The durable bamboo cutting board doubles as a built-in magnetic knife drawer.
What You Get • Emeril cutting board/storage box • 8” chef knife • 5” Santoku knife • 3-1/2” paring knife • Use and care manual • Manufacturer’s lifetime limited warranty
I used this set three times when I noticed that the 5” Santoku Knife looked like something was stuck to the blade. I started washing the Santoku blade trying to get the spots out. It was not spots on the blade; in fact, the blade had several cracks in the metal. The blade/the metal is breaking! I called customer service for the HSN/Home Shopping Network and spoke to a person about my set of knives. I am going to return this set of knives with the bamboo cutting board and I would like to be credited for the return item. My concern is when this blade breaks the potential danger that can or will occur. This knife is not safe to use.
