  1. Emergency room

Made Nov 5, 2014, sent to the company Nov 17, 2014, published by CPSC Dec 3, 2014

The product, in the report: Made in the USA. Pocket Knife. Model #501 retail price $70.00

The Buck Company 501 pocket knife has a locking mechanism for the blade. The locking mechanism on my recently purchased knife is defective. This caused an injury that required me to go to the emergency room to have the wound taken care of. This happened on the job and I filed a workman’s comp claim and report.
