The product, in the report: Soy based candle in a 2”x3” candle tin with lid. The lid is removed during burning. The only label left on the tin reads “Bora Bora Wicked Candles”. The candles were purchased at a Farmers Market in Sunset Beach.
I had lit a candle I bought called Bora Bora by Wicked Candles. This is a candle in a tin (approx. 2”x3”). The candle burns directly in the tin, it is not possible to take out. The candle was on my dresser in my bedroom. After a few hours I entered my bedroom to find the candle had burned all the way down to the bottom but instead of burning out it continued to burn through the bottom of the candle and through my wooden dresser. The room was filled with smoke and the surface was hot. My bureau is damaged with a deep imprint of the candle (tin). We cooled the surface and aired the room out. I’ve had these candles in the past and never feared them burning right through the tin which is what this did. The tin itself is burned right through the bottom. I can’t imagine what would have happened had I not entered the room when I did.
