The product, in the report: 11.28 ounce candle (Tomato Leaf scent)
The candle had been use for 3 hours.
It appears that the wick on the bottom drifted to the side of the candle’s glass. Wax was dripping out the side of the glass, because it cracked from the heat of the wick. He moved the candle to the sink and poured water on it to put out the flame and stop the leaking wax.
A few glass shards were present from the broken glass. There were no injuries.
The candle was used about 5 times before this incident. The candle has a 48 hour burn time and he estimates that they had burned it approximately 20 hours, because it is halfway gone.
