The product, in the report: Gold Polyresin hanukkah Menorah with Floral pattern and Hebrew Text

I purchased a Hanukkah Menorah from the web site ‘World of Judaica.com’.

The Menorah item is listed as “Gold Polyresin Hanukkah Menorah with Floral Pattern and Hebrew Text” (Product ID #MNR-TJ-47341).

On the first night of Hanukkah the Menorah not only began melting, but actually started smoke and burn.

After putting out the fire, I looked up the material ‘polyresin’ on the internet and learned its often used to make candle holders. However, polyresin is plastic, so shouldn’t there be some sort of warning label or protective insert to keep the polyresin from burning?

No where on the web site or on the product description or packing does it indicate this Menorah cannot be used with real candles nor did the item come with mental inserts or any special instructions.

I took photos of the melted and burned Menorah and have also emailed the web site.

I feel this item is extremely dangerous and could have easily started a fire in our house.
