The product, in the report: Homespun Jar Candle Cafe Au Lait in ribbed glass by Swan Creek Candle Company. It appears from their website to be the 12 oz. size.

Glass Homespun Jar Candle by Swan Creek Candle was burning in my home. I was in the same room. Was burning shorter than the recommended time on the label (< 3 hours). I never heard the glass break -- it was intact with no chips, fractures, cracks before burning. Luckily when my husband came home from work I turned my eyes in the direction of the door -- that’s when I noticed on the counter behind me that the flame had darkened and broken the glass of the actual. Wax was dripping out all over my counter. The flame was high -- overburning the top of the candle by quite some bit. It was obvious that the wick of this candle overburned, and that the ribbed glass used was NOT able to withstand the heat. I strongly feel this candle if NOT pulled from the shelf or the glass changed will indeed in the future cause a residence to burn down. After the fact I researched this candle company and found they had to recall other candle products they produce. I called the company that produces the candle as well as the store I bought the product from but had to leave my name and number and am awaiting call backs.
