The product, in the report: Glade Hawaiian Breeze 2 pack candles
My husband & I run 4 [REDACTED]. 2 nights ago we had guests who brought in (and burned completely) the Glade Hawaiian Breeze scented candles. We kicked them out for other reasons ([REDACTED] smoking) but after they left we noticed black soot on everything from the dishes, to the shower, to every single soft item in the unit, plus the AC/heater filter was black (see pictures). These candles are an obvious fire & health hazard, & if left in the wrong hands, could have easily destroyed our business had we not stopped what was happening early on.
I know you could say this soot was caused by the [REDACTED] smoking — which could have contributed — but the candles even have a warning on them not to exceed 4 hours burning and to discard once the candle has burned down to 1/4”. They know the soot is a problem. There are numerous reports of the soot online. Please check into this. Thank you for your time.
