The product, in the report: It is a green candle in a glass jar about six inches tall. The jar has a glass lid with a rubber rim. There are pictures of M&M’s on the label holding Christmas presents. The candle inside has three red pieces of wax in the shape of candies. The logo on the front label is “M&M’s” and the logo on the bottom label is “Rite Aid Home for the holidays.” The weight is listed as 18 oz. The price is $9.99
I bought a Rite Aid Home brand candle at a Rite Aid Store. When I opened it at home, I saw that it had a metal wire in the wick. I remembered that lead wires in wicks are not allowed in US candles any more. I lit the candle. It made me dizzy and gave me a headache. That is why I think there is lead and/or other metal toxins in the wick. The product number is ITEM#9215387-MMXIV. The product name is M&M’s Scented Candle. The UPC code is 4722347811.
