The product, in the report: 13oz glass mason jar candle with glass handle, candle is a soy/paraffin blend with a non-lead wick, 3.07”W x 5.31”H, 0.81 Pounds
I was about 1 hour into burning a 13oz mason-jar-styled candle from Our Own Candle Company when I heard a crunching sound and found that a spiderweb of cracks had formed in the jar of the candle. I blew it out and allowed it to cool before handling it any further but upon further inspection the mason jars that this company uses for their candles explicitly state (embossed into the glass jar) “NOT FOR HOT PRODUCT”. No injuries were had, thankfully.
