The product, in the report: Manufacturer: nest fragrances LLC driftwood & Chamomile candle

Regarding: manufacturer: Nest Fragrances Name: Driftwood & Chamomile scented candle. Our daughter purchased the subject candle from Sephora. After approximately 10 minutes of burn time on a new candle the melted liquid wax caught fire, the flames reached 6 inches, it was as if the melted wax became a highly volatile substance. The entire surface of the melted wax was on fire. I suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my hand. See photo. The fire was intense enough to set off our fire alarm. We are fortunate that the fire did not spread through the room or worse our home. I am a minister and have daily used candles for 20 to years and I have never experienced such an incident. I am reporting this to assure that action will be taken. The candle container shattered when we threw it into the toilet, the closest water we had access to. This is a very serious issue, someone could have suffered even greater injuries.
