The product, in the report: Nanette Lepore Midsummer’s Nigh Fruit & Tropical & Sweet natural soy wax - infused with essential oil candle in the clear glass jar. Model BCF12526

I lit a candle in a glass jar that was on my master bathroom counter. I left the bathroom for a couple minutes and when I returned a towel that was near the candle was fully on fire. I grabbed the towel to throw it into the shower stall. I dropped the towel on the floor as it was too hot to hold. I tried to smoother the flames with another towel and was able to threw it into the shower, where I extinguished the flames with water. I looked at the candle and there was hot wax that had exploded out onto a large mirror, causing it to break. There was hot wax on the tile counter. I have a large burnt hole in my carpet and burned bath rug. The robe I was wearing also got a little burned. This was the 4th time I used the candle and it was lit for less than 10 minutes when the wax exploded out. I burned the candle for about 15 minutes each time. The candle wax was so hot it stayed in a liquid form for over an hour. I could not touch the glass container for almost two hours. I emailed the mfg. at [REDACTED] but they have not responded. Also, when I opened my bedroom door , the room was full of smoke. My 2 year old First Alert Smoke Alarm Model No. P1210 did not activate.
