The product, in the report: Large, Two Wick Candle.
Product: Morcenci Candles Inc. www.morcencicandles.com
This evening I lit a candle around 3:30pm downstairs, at about 5:45 all of my fire alarms went off. The glass around the candle had exploded and the glass/wax was on fire. The flames rose over a foot tall, luckily there were no other flammable items around. As I put water on the fire the flames rose even higher. I ended up smothering the flames using wet towels. There is an obvious issue with the glass used for these candles, as this is the second candle that has exploded or broke apart. I fear for someone who does not have fire/smoke alarms and lights a candle without knowing.
