  1. No one hurt

Made Dec 2, 2015, sent to the company Mar 2, 2016, published by CPSC Mar 23, 2016

The product, in the report: Lolita Glasses- mini martini glass (girlfriends design) candle.

I lit a Lolita brand candle that was in a painted mini martini glass. The candle was made of a gel like substance. After being lit for the first time, within minutes the entire candle exploded and engulfed. The glass was not broken at all; it was the gel that exploded and completely burned. It splattered all over the top of my dresser where the candle was sitting and the droplets of gel burned on their own. I blew on it and the candle and the droplets went out. The glass was completely charred but, not damaged other than that- the gel completely burned away very quickly.
