The product, in the report: Comfy Candle Warmer - electric plug in

Being an insurance agent, fire safety is a paramount concern at all times. I have 2 cats - so burning candles with a flame was never going to happen in my home. Thinking candle warmer on the stove was safer - I always opt for this. I had a small 2-3” candle from Liganore Candles (Liganore, MD) on my candle warmer on the stove. When I came into the kitchen - I saw hot wax had exploded onto the wall behind the stove, and on various parts of the stovetop also (I have cell phone pics for verification but do not have text capability.) The candle jar had also exploded. Several days later a friend came over and showed me that my candle warmer had melted a hole in it where it was seamed together. I have been in contact w Liganore Candle - thinking that was the main problem, because the glass jar they use is not as thick as the jars they sell at Walmart, etc. Now I don’t know which caused the potential fire hazard first. I bought this candle warmer several years ago from Bed, Bath & Beyond. Had someone not brought this to my attention, I would have continued to use this creating a more potential fire hazard. I definitely believe that a recall should be established ASAP. I live in a townhouse of 7 units together - including children, infants, pets. This could have been a disastrous situation - and perhaps even deadly. I am so terribly frightened at this point.
