The product, in the report: Calvin Klein chai single wick candle, encased in clear glass with fashionable dot pattern on the glass. The candle was white in color, 7.8oz.

One Calvin Klein chai fragrance candle was burning on a table alone, near the end of the wick. The candle had been used multiple times before without issue, but this particular instance as the candle ran out of wax and wick, though was still fully lit, the glass surrounding the candle exploded in a load burst and glass pieces fell to the table with the wick still ignited. The glass and the table beneath where it sat remained hot to the touch for 10-15 minutes after extinguishing the flame. The product was likely purchased at TJ Maxx.
