  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Oct 17, 2016, sent to the company Oct 25, 2016, published by CPSC Nov 8, 2016

The product, in the report: Candle Snuggers patent #4036577

I bought the Biedermann and Sons “Candle Snuggers” in order to, as the package states, burn my candles more safely by keeping them upright in their holders to prevent excess dripping of hot wax. They in fact made the burning FAR more DANGEROUS, as the “snuggers” held the dripping wax inside the holders so that it built up too much, and when the flames got down to the snuggers, it set them on fire because they are EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. When the snuggers burned away, the entirety of ALL the hot wax at once exploded all over.
