The product, in the report: 10 quart stainless steel stock pot with glass lid
I have a “Wolfgang Puck 10 qt. stock pot that had a glass lid. The pot is about 3 years old. The other day I was making Chicken soup, the pot was on simmer on the stove when the lid suddenly exploded. Not only did the glass fall in the soup but it scattered across the stove and on the floor. The company said this can happen sometimes. Why have a product like this on the market?

The product, in the report: Wolfgang Puck Stainless Steel Cookware Lid I tried to upload pics but it wasn’t working properly. Please let me know if you need pics.
I was Browning ground beef in a Wolfgang Puck Stainless Steel Skillet on Low-Med Heat. I heard a “pop” and saw that the lid cracked over the ground beef causing glass to fall into the ground beef. I took pictures of the lid and have them if needed.
This is very concerning as I paid a premium price for the whole set of Wolfgang Puck Stainless Steel cookware as well as for the Ground Beef.
Please let me know if you would like the pictures.
