The product, in the report: Catamount Flameware 2.5 Microwave Popcorn Popper sold by Crate and Barrel
Using Crate and Barrel Catamount Flameware 2.5 Quart Microwave Popcorn Popper, according to instructions, the Lexan lid caught fire in the microwave. I placed 1.5 oz of popcorn kernels in the glass container, placed the lid on top and set the microwave to high for 2.5 minutes. After a little more than 2 minutes the lid was flaming. I removed the device, dropped the lid in the sink and extinguished the fire with water.
