The product, in the report: Glass lid for bowl

Caller washed lid for large bowl, realized that it was loose, turned it upside down to slightly tighten it when it exploded in his hand sending glass shards downward and outward in a 8 to 10 foot radius in all directions.

Bowl was still slightly wet but was not hot or wet.

Caller describes lid as “going off like a bomb” stating also that the explosion of glass did not go upward at all.

Caller would like to report this product as a safety hazard to avoid anyone else from becoming injured.
