The product, in the report: Microwave Bacon Cooker with grease reservoir below hanging bacon.
Using “Bacon Genie” microwave bacon cooker to cook bacon. I cooked one batch of bacon, drained the grease out of the reservoir and loaded a second batch of bacon for cooking to cook. I started cooking the bacon and part way through the cooking time, I checked to see how the bacon was cooking. When I moved the cooker, I discovered that the grease reservoir had melted, was scorched and stuck to the glass plate in the microwave. If I hadn’t checked it, I fear that the reservoir would have burst into flame. The plastic used to make this product is not a good plastic for microwave use as it melts at too low a temperature. I have other bacon cookers that are made of better material and withstand much higher temperatures
I can no longer use this product as there is a hole melted through the bottom of the grease reservoir.
