First aid Made Nov 9, 2016, sent to the company Nov 18, 2016, published by CPSC Dec 12, 2016
The product, in the report: 14 inch Anodized nonstick covered wok with combo stainless steel and glass lid.
I used this product to cook beef stew. While simmering, I removed the cover and put it on top of the cooktop which I normally do every time I am cooking. I put the cover on the top of cooktop which is not being use. After few seconds the cover suddenly burst and shattered into tiny pieces and also shattered our glass cooktop. I am lucky I just got small cuts to my fingers and the shattered glass did not went in my eyes. This product should be recalled as it could cause serious injuries or worst blindness to anybody.

No one hurt Made Jun 29, 2012, sent to the company Jul 12, 2012, published by CPSC Jul 26, 2012
The product, in the report: Glass lid for Anolon Advanced Bronze series, 3 quart sauce pan. The model number stamped on the bottom is either 0011T or QQ11T. I still have both the pan and the shattered lid.
We purchased a new set of the Anolon Advanced Bronze cookware from Macy’s in February. It has had very light use. We were simmering rice in the 3 quart sauce pan on the lowest heat setting on a gas range when suddenly the glass lid exploded with a loud pop. It appears to be safety glass and most of it fell into the food, but a good amount was strewn around the rangetop, counters, and floor. I reported the incident to Anolon custumer service and they are sending me another lid. The model number stamped on the bottom of the pan is either 0011T or QQ11T.
