  1. No one hurt

Made May 23, 2012, sent to the company Jun 1, 2012, published by CPSC Jun 22, 2012

The product, in the report: I have lost 2 saucepans approximately 2 qt and 3 qt, a buffet pan and a large frying pan. color is silver- stainless steel. It is the Bistro brand.

I purchased Wolfgang Puck cookware from home shopping network approximately 4 years ago. They worked fine until recently. 4 of the pots and pans have come apart while cooking within the last 2 months. The bottom comes off, and you are left with the bottom of the pan on your stove, with liquid aluminum in it which is needless to say, very hot. I called home shopping network, who gave me Wolfgang Puck company’s phone number. I spoke with the company representative who stated “this happens, you should only cook on low heat”. This was the Bistro set I purchased which have a separate bottom attached that has an aluminum disc in it. To this date I have had no resolution with the Wolfgang Puck company or HSN regarding the safety issue this poses.
