The product, in the report: Stainless-steel frying pan. The handle detached from pan during normal cooking use
I purchased a stainless-steel frying pan on September 5, 2026. During the first use, while I was cooking eggs on the stove, the pan handle became loose and detached from the pan. This created an immediate safety hazard because the pan was hot and contained hot food. If the handle detaches while someone is lifting or moving the pan, the hot pan, food, or cooking oil could fall or spill onto the user and cause serious burns or other injuries.
After the incident, I examined the handle attachment and found it was not secure. I later returned the pan to the retailer. A store employee attempted to repair the handle with another bolt, but the handle remained loose and wobbly. Because the handle already detached during normal cooking, I believe the product presents a significant safety risk and should be investigated.
