First aid Made Dec 19, 2025, sent to the company Dec 29, 2025, published by CPSC Jan 13, 2026
The product, in the report: Our Place metal cookware pot with metal handles and metal rim, sold for home stovetop cooking. The pot has integrated metal handles and an exposed metal rim that become extremely hot during normal cooking use. The design does not provide a visual or tactile warning that the handles and rim are unsafe to touch.
I sustained a contact burn on my arm from the rim/handle area of an Our Place pot during normal cooking. The handles and rim became extremely hot, and there was no clear indication that these areas were unsafe to touch. I believe this presents a burn hazard due to design and lack of warning.
