The product, in the report: Le Creuset enamed cast iron braising pan with glass lid. SKU# L2732-2630 Dark blue. Glass lid had round knob type handle.
I was cooking vegetables in a Le Creuset shallow enameled cast iron braising pan with a glass lid. During the cooking, the glass lid shattered while it was on the enameled cast iron pan as food was cooking. Some glass pieces and metal handle fell into the food. Some glass popped onto the cooktop base, the kitchen counter as well as on the floor. Thankfully i was not injured but frightened. I sent an email with photos of shattered lid to LeCreuset tonight as well. Needless to say, I had to throw away the lid and food.

No incident, no one hurt Made Jun 13, 2022, sent to the company Jun 16, 2022, published by CPSC Jul 1, 2022
The product, in the report: https://www.lecreuset.com/fry-basket/CA2002.html
Le Creuset fry basket has a safety issue.
The rivet that holds the handle locking lever loosens over time and plus with the heat from frying (It’s material may be too soft to withstand the heat) and the basket handle will collapse when turning over such as when dumping a load of fries etc.
