The product, in the report: Subject: Product Safety Concern: Imusa Pot Sold at Walmart Dear Walmart Customer Service Team, I am writing to report a serious safety concern with the Imusa pot sold at your stores. The handles of this product become excessively hot, reaching temperatures of over 195-200 degrees Fahrenheit, which poses a significant burn risk to consumers. I experienced this issue firsthand while cooking breakfast and attempting to remove the pot from the stovetop. Despite being cautious, I suffered a burn on my hand due to the extreme heat. I have documented this incident with a video and temperature reading using a gauge. I am particularly concerned about the potential harm this product could cause to vulnerable individuals, such as new mothers, young children, or older adults, who may not be aware of the danger. The fact that this product is sold without adequate warning labels or safety precautions is alarming. I urge you to take immediate action to address this issue. I request a prompt response regarding the steps you will take to: 1. Recall the affected products from the market 2. Implement design changes to prevent similar issues in the future 3. Provide adequate warning labels and safety instructions for consumers I appreciate your attention to this matter, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, [REDACTED]

The product, in the report: IMUSA 6.3” E29C Egg fry pan (black)
IMUSA 6.3” E29C Egg fry pan When cooking an egg this am I burned my finger enough to cause a blister. I had grabbed the pan close to the rim as I felt that it may be a little heavy with contents and burned my finger on exposed metal between the pan and the insulated handle. I measured 3/4 in exposed metal on top and nearly 1” of exposed metal on the bottom between the pan and the insulated handle. My concern is that children or elderly people could have the the same incident and drop or throw the pan with hot contents and cause serious injuries.

The product, in the report: Imusa 10 Quart Nonstick Stock Pot
The submitter is reporting the pot because it’s made of thin material and warps while it’s being used, posing a burn hazard. Yesterday he was making soup and when he tried to put the lid on it fell inside the pot. As he attempted to take it out he burned his hand with the hot water. He did not seek medical attention for his burns.
The submitter said he noticed the pot warping during the first use but it has become worse and yesterday was the first time he burned himself. He uses the pot once every month or two months.
The submitter visited the firm’s website and came across CPSC #.
He doesn’t plan to contact the firm.
He believes the pot should be removed from the market.
