The product, in the report: Hexclad pots and pans shed the nonstick coating and small thin wires around the rims. This has happened on various sizes of their product. I have replaced three pots with the warranty due to nonstick coating peeling off. They wish to replace the product due to wire shedding as well but that is no longer a risk I am willing to take with my familys lives. They should issue a recall and refund.
I have experienced nonstick coating peeling off Hexclad pots and pans and getting into food. I have also experienced two Hexclad pots and pans shedding small, thin wire pieces from the rim of the item. One stuck in my hand drawing blood while the other was cut with scissors to remove the danger. If swallowed, this could be life threatening.
