The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

On May 4, 2018, while cooking eggs, the cap covering the rivet that holds the handle to the pan, exploded sending the cap flying and striking me in the stomach.

Bed & Bath, the seller had me contact “Table Top Unlimited” ref#[REDACTED]. I spoke with service rep. [REDACTED] and was told that there had been a few reports of this and she would need to contact the manufacturer. After a few days, they contacted me and right away disclaimed that this had ever happened and that the results were from too high of heat on the unit.

I was not able to get any resolve other than a refund and $25. for my injury. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I talked to [REDACTED]. She eventually called me and told me the CEO of the company would be in touch with me. As of today, nothing has come of this.
