The product, in the report: This was an 8” non-stick saute’ pan sold by Copper Chef Titan Pans.
I was scrambling some eggs in my 8” Copper Chef Titan Sauté Pan when one of the stainless steel rivet heads which anchor the handle on to the pan shot off like a bullet across my stove, hit my tile backsplash and wedged in the corner of my counter. If it had hit my eye, or a member of my family, it would have been a very serious injury.

The product, in the report: 10 inch skillet
My wife was cooking with the 10” Copper Chef frying pan (without cover) when we hear a very loud gunshot-like pop. She heard a piece of metal hit the floor near her and found a small round piece of metal that appeared to be covering one of the handle rivets on the inside of the pan. Fortunately she was not standing at the stove when this occurred so the projectile did not strike her. We have owned this pan, purchased at TJMaxx, since November 2018.

The product, in the report: Copper Chef frying pan, 9.5 inch, square https://www.copperchef.com/cookware/fry-pans/9-5-diamond-square-fry-pan-with-lid.html
Tonight I was cooking crab cakes in a Copper Chef frying pan and part of one of the rivets that hold the handle onto the pan exploded off of the pan and ricocheted across the kitchen. It sounded like a firecracker or a gunshot. We eventually found the metal piece on the other side of the room. I am confident that one of us would have surely been seriously injured if it had hit us, particularly in the eye.
