The product, in the report: Bobby Flay red cookware 8.5 inch pan 254A

I have owned my Bobby Flay cookware for about 6 years. I was cooking a hamburger patty in the small pan on my kitchen stovetop on May 11, 2023 at about 5pm when all of a sudden something like a gunshot went off in my kitchen. I was standing right next to the stove, chopping vegetables. It was so loud I covered my ears and heard ringing. I wasn’t sure what had happened, but I could tell it came from the stove. As I went to go turn off the burner, it happened again and I could hear that it was happening in the pan itself. On the countertop, I found a round piece of metal. I moved the pan off the burner and took the splatter guard off the pan, removed the hamburger, looked to see if I could see any metal on it and found none on the outside of the burger, so I put it in the micro to continue cooking. As I inspected the pan, I could see that it was a piece of metal from where the handle attaches to the pan that had somehow become dislodged and became a projectile. I could only find one piece, but not the other. As I sat down to eat my burger, I bit into the other piece of metal. It had literally shot into the middle of my hamburger meat! I have never had cookware bullets flying around my kitchen! I am so glad that my daughter had not been cooking that day or that I did not get hurt. I’m also glad my micro didn’t blow up from cooking metal! But I feel the need to report this to anyone and everyone I can, as what happened was EXTREMELY dangerous! Please do a recall or something on these pans. I can’t help but think “What would have happened if I had the matching glass lid on that pan” that day, or no cover! Super scary! I threw away the metal pieces, but have taken a comparison picture of the broken pan and unbroken pan so you can see where the problem is. Now I have to replace all of these pans, as well, since I am afraid of this happening again. As you can see from the photos, the pan on top is missing the tops of the metal caps, while the bottom pan still has them.
