The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: starbucks stainless steel straw and venti cup

I bought this straw and stainless cup at the starbucks in Norwalk Ca. in the Target shopping center. I used the straw for approx. 3 weeks. I felt pain in my left front tooth and lower left canine (next to) tooth. I discontinued use for approx. 2 weeks. The pain subsided. I went back to using the cup and straw for another approx. Month. Within a week The left front upper tooth cracked as well as the lower tooth described. I immediately stopped using. I went into the starbucks I bought them at and aske about the number for the district manager. And that persons name. I was made to wait for almost 30 minutes and they were not busy at the time. I had to leave. So I am here filling this out. And am going to take starbucks to Small claims court tomorrow . The incident date below is an extreme approximation!!

The product, in the report: Starbucks Stainless Steel drink cup straw. I believe it’s a 24 oz, but not sure. It’s blue. Stainless inside and outside.

Starbucks stainless steel straw that was included with my stainless steel drink cup is very sharp. While bringing the straw to my mouth I have both chipped the enamel off my front tooth as well as cut my lip.
