  1. No one hurt

Made Jan 6, 2023, sent to the company Jan 11, 2023, published by CPSC Jan 26, 2023

The product, in the report: The straw that had the chunk was the blue one from their set. Taken from company (GIR) website: The Standard Straw is the perfect replacement for disposable straws. They are super easy to clean with the squeegee and travel case included. 5-Pack contains: 5 Standard Size straws, 2 travel cases, and 2 cleaning squeegees Made from 100% platinum-cured, pharmaceutical grade silicone BPA & BPS free Dimensions: 8.0” L x 0.30” Diameter

Bought a set of straws from GIR. One of the straws had a piece of silicone still in the shaft of the straw. This chunk of silicon shot into my mouth first time using it. Nearly choked. I handwashed the product before using.
