The product, in the report: Sold by Le Gourmet Chef for $5.99 for 2 ~ Safe up to 450 Degrees. Mad of a silicone material. I bought them in a green color
I bought a Set of 2 Trivets/Pot Holders from Le Gourmet Chef. I also bought a set to give as a gift.
Each pot holder is made of a silicone material and has a hole in it for hanging.
I was baking and decided to use my new pot holders. My thumb slipped through the hole in them and I burned it. Not only that, I could feel a definite head starting to burn my hand and I had find a place to set the pan down fast.
The pot holders say they are safe for tempatures up to 450 degrees. I was only using 400 degrees.
Here is a post on my blog with a picture of the pot holders and my thumb. http://www.myjourneywithcandida.com/2013/01/is-poor-customer-service-becoming-norm.html
