Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Goldcoast 3 bowl set. They are red with white spots and a chromlike finish on the inside.

GoldCoast 3 bowl set. Red with a shinny “chromelike” finish. I left one of these bowls on my back porch with some recently picked produce in the bowl. In short order the leaves of lettuce were smoking. The bowl focused the light to such a point in started to burn the lettuce. I later went to check the other two bowls one of which was sitting on my table with a small paper bag in it. My son picked it up and noticed a burn hole right threw the paper bag.

These bowls are dangerous. I can only imagine how many fires might or have been started by these bowls.

I’d hate to know someone died or went to jail because of these bowls.
