The product, in the report: Product: LaCuisine #150 Grain mill A hand operated small appliance for use in the kitchen. (Note: No manufacturer name was on any of the material supplied with the new product.) The item# on the box was #KTGRNML
Product: LaCuisine #150 Grain mill
This product is made from a soft cast iron which places metal shavings into the food when the product is used as directed. The grinding surfaces are made of soft cast iron. I used the product and metal shavings from the grinding surfaces were found in the food product. The shavings were small enough as not to be easily seen in the food product. (I used a magnet to pick the shavings out of the food.)
If I had not discovered the shavings and consumed the food, it likely would have resulted in injury to internal organs.
