  1. First aid

Made Jun 16, 2025, sent to the company Jun 18, 2025, published by CPSC Jul 3, 2025

The product, in the report: Hexclad cooking utensils. They are black and many have hollow handles that you would not be aware they hold water until it leaks out.

Utilizing Hexclad spoon utensil water came out of handle while cooking with hot oil and it splattered and burnt my hand. The handles are hollow and hold water. When I complained about the defect this was their response, “What youre describing is actually completely normal and expected with our cookware design. Some of items have hollow handles, and during washing whether by hand or in the dishwasher small amounts of water can occasionally make their way inside. This doesn’t affect performance or durability in any way, and its not considered a defect.”
