The product, in the report: Brand: Grill Magic -non-stick heavy duty oven liners set. BPA free 23”x16.26” , FDA approved. Purchased on Amazon. 14,023 reviews with over 4 star rating. The interior of the oven was completely coated with. Whitish film that does not come off completely; plus the fan and element are coated. [REDACTED]
I used an oven liner in my new oven during my first “oven fryer” use. There was a lot of smoke, which I attributed to the avacado oil. I learned afterward that it was the [REDACTED] coated oven liner that had apparently started smoking. My oven was left with a heavy white coating that doesn’t come off completely. The [REDATED] was burned off the liner. I checked the item reviews again. (Amazon purchase) and found other reviews of this happening with fires occurring. I am personal concerned about the smoke I inhaled or that my family may have breathed. I think I may need to get rid of my oven and it’s two months old! Upon looking on the internet, it seems it has happened to a lot of people with other [REDACTED] coated liners.
