grease separator (capacity about one quart), made by amco houseworks, a brand of Focus Products Group, LLC, Lincolnshire, IL 60069, for separating fat from soup by draining soup from the bottom of the container (fat floats to top of container), failed at the slide valve fixture at the bottom, alowing hot soup and fat to spill onto counter and floor. It could have caused scalds or burns. This is the second unit to have such a failure; the first was sold without a working valve (missing part) and the replacement had its valve assembly fail about a week ago.
