The product, in the report: Sparkling water maker Model: SodaStream Crystal Serial #: 4013608981-05/10
SodaStream Crystal glass bottle exploded while carbonating. Have been using this machine for almost 2 years, no prior problems. Water level was normal but on the 2nd press of the fill button there was an explosion and water mixed with fine glass particles sprayed on to me from between the metal container shells. Latch was jammed but manged to work it open. The glass bottle is just a pile of broken glass in the bottom of the metal shell. Thankfully no injuries.
