How badly anyone was hurt

  • No one hurt 1 CPSC: Incident, No Injury

As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Product name: All-clad 2 pc silicone cookware grip set Description: All-clad cookware has stainless handles that become hot with use. The grips are supposed to insulate the handles to prevent burning the user’s hand. Their poor fit defeats the purpose & creates danger of slipping & spilling hot food, with risk of dangerous burn injury.

I’m returning the All-clad 2 pc silicone cookware grip set.The grips do not fit the pan handles as advertised. They slip, allowing the pan to twist in the users hand. A vessel containing hot food could spill without warning, causing a serious burn injury. Two All-Clad phone representatives stated that they have never received any complaints like this one, but these statements are false, according to the reviews on their website. Because the company refuses to acknowledge that this product is dangerous, I believe that it requires your attention.
