The product, in the report: 21 gallon sensor trash bin model # ek9288bmt-80L
I was unloading the trash and the black rim came off. I felt around the trash can lid and rim and cut my finger on something sharp. I’m not sure exactly what it was. Then I became worried that my 7 yr old son could of been changing the trash and this could of happened to him. So I looked online to see if there was something to repair it or if others have had the same thing happen. That’s when I read there is a recall on this trashcan. We were never notified by costco.
