The product, in the report: 80L/21Gal Motion Sensor Trash Bin Model # EK9288BMT-80L
This afternoon I cut my finger on a hand grip opening that was once covered by a thin plastic cover. This opening was in the container bin which was made of thin extruded stainless steel that is as sharp as a knife. The product is an 80L/21 Gal Motion Sensor Trash Bin Model EK9288BMT-80L which I purchased within the past year from COSTCO. I sent them an email earlier about this incident. I am 70 years old and what happened was a freak accident. I don’t anyone else to experience what I did as in my opinion this is a poorly engineered product. What concerns me is what could happen to a young child. I do not want them to lose a tiny finger. Children are inquisitive! Please get your hands on this product and determine if there should be a recall or the distribution of warnings. Thanks so much!
